How to Dress for an Autumnal Wedding
As the days begin getting a little cooler, we begin to reach for our favourite light knits.
With the weather, comes Autumn wedding season, the perfect time in between seasons while it begins to cool down to celebrate. We’re here to help put together the perfect Autumn wedding guest outfit for you.
Start off with a perfect Autumn Winter shirt. One in the wardrobe that is a little thicker in material and easy to style, preferably white or navy. These thicker material buttoned shirts are great for those Autumn outdoor weddings when you are trying to stay warm.
Secondly, reach for the accessories. A classy bow tie or a knit tie are perfect for the Autumn season. Try those darker colours, now is the time to experiment with darker hues just in time for the cooler months so don’t be scared to try.
A trusty shirt and bow tie combo that is matched especially for you is just what you need as a wedding guest. One combination you can quickly grab and wear whenever you need for any occasion.
Colour and tone wise, like we mentioned try to stick to those darker tonal colours. The browns, beiges and navy colours all suit anybody and complexion. We encourage trying something new during this in between season to really see what suits you and what you feel most comfortable in.
Our tip, a light knit goes a long way. A wedding guest in a button up shirt, tie and a knit over their shoulders or wearing it with their tie peaking out is very chic. Layering is everything this season so don’t shy away from it. Bring a light knit with yourself anywhere and you have yourself a back up layer when needed.
