Wedding Ties for Grooms, Groomsmen & Guests
Wedding season is well and truly still in swing, and we completely understand how stressful it can be to figure out what shoes, suit and accessories to pair up. Luckily, we have one of those factors sorted.
Finding a tie for a wedding is often confusing. Is it too much or too little? Skinny or traditional tie? Bow tie or cravat? These are the questions all men ask before a wedding. Whether you are the groom, a groomsman or a guest, we have just the tie for you.
Groom
The man of the hour. You must well and truly be wearing the most formal of tie on your special day. The most common groom tie has to be a classic bow tie, it means business. It can either be black or a colour that the other groomsmen are not wearing to identify the groom out of the lot. We also recommend trying on a necktie that is another great option. Try both and see what you feel most comfortable in. When it comes to material, you can’t go wrong with a classic silk tie.
Groomsmen
If the groom is in a bow tie, then the groomsmen should definitely be in long neck ties. A small difference makes a big one, especially when it comes to photos. As long as the groomsmen are different to the groom, then any type of tie should be fine, depending on the theme of the wedding. Our only other rule is that they all must match! Trust us on this one, it’s better to be safe than sorry.
Wedding Guest
No rules apply! As long as you are dressing the wedding attire, you can wear any type of tie. If you are one to play safe, we recommend either a normal neck tie and explore your style with patterns or colours to bring your outfit alive. If you aren’t scared of mixing it up, we recommend trying a cravat.
We have a range of ties in different styles, materials and patterns. No matter if you are a groom, a groomsman or a wedding guest, we have just the tie for you.
